These Terms & Conditions govern your use of selekty.com and any order you place with us. Please read them carefully — by browsing the site or completing a purchase, you agree to be bound by them.

1. Who We Are

selekty.com (“Selekty“, “we”, “us”, “our”) is operated by JDCM Ventures Limited, a company registered in Ireland (company number 787791), with its registered office at Unit 2, 2 Bridge Street, Athlone, Co. Westmeath, N37 F1W4, Ireland (VAT No. IE 4416169AH). You can reach us any time at support@selekty.com.

2. Definitions

  • Site — the website at selekty.com and its subdomains.
  • Products — the goods offered for sale on the Site.
  • Brands — the independent third-party brands whose Products we list, and their fulfilment partners.
  • Order — a request by you to purchase one or more Products.
  • You / Customer — the person browsing the Site or placing an Order.

3. Eligibility & Your Account

To place an Order you must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legally binding contract. If you create an account, you’re responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Please give accurate, current information — we may refuse, suspend, or close an account where information is false or these Terms are breached.

4. Products, Availability & Fulfilment

Our Products are supplied by independent third-party brands and their fulfilment partners, who dispatch orders directly. We list Products in good faith, but availability depends on our Brands and is not guaranteed. We may correct errors, limit order quantities, or withdraw a Product at any time.

If a Product becomes unavailable after you order it, we’ll let you know and refund you in full for that item; beyond that refund we have no further liability for unavailability. Product images and descriptions are provided by the Brands and are for guidance — minor variations in colour, finish, or packaging can occur. Where required, Products are intended for the EU market and are accompanied by the safety and compliance information mandated by applicable EU product-safety law.

5. Orders & Contract Formation

When you place an Order, you’re making an offer to buy. A binding contract is formed only when we send you an order or dispatch confirmation — not when your payment is authorised. We may decline an Order (for example, where a Product is out of stock, incorrectly priced, we suspect fraud, or we can’t deliver to your location), in which case we’ll refund any payment taken.

6. Prices & Payment

Prices are shown in euro (€) and include VAT where applicable. Any delivery charges are calculated and shown at checkout before you pay. We may change prices at any time, but changes won’t affect Orders we’ve already confirmed.

Despite our best efforts, a Product may occasionally be mispriced. If a Product’s correct price is higher than the price shown, we’ll contact you before dispatch and let you choose to proceed at the correct price or cancel; if it’s obviously mispriced, we may cancel the Order and refund you. Payment is taken at the time you order, through the payment methods offered at checkout.

7. Shipping & Delivery

Because Products come from different Brands, an Order containing items from more than one Brand ships as separate parcels, and a delivery charge may apply per Brand — the exact charges are always shown at checkout before you pay. Items typically ship from within the EU.

Delivery dates and timeframes are estimates, not guarantees, and can be affected by the carrier or events outside our control. Risk in the Products passes to you on delivery. If a parcel can’t be delivered because of an incorrect address, a failure to collect, or non-payment of any charges due at your end, we may charge you the cost of re-delivery or handle it under our Returns & Refunds Policy.

8. Returns, Refunds & Warranty

Returns, refunds, cancellations, and our 2-year warranty are covered in full by our Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In short: you have 30 days from your order date to return most items, and every Product carries a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects. 9. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in these Terms affects your non-waivable rights as a consumer. If you’re shopping from within the EU, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer law, beginning the day you receive your Order, in addition to our more generous 30-day return window. Your statutory rights in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods always apply.

10. Intellectual Property

The Site, its layout, and the Selekty name and branding are owned by us or our licensors. Brand names, logos, and product imagery belong to their respective Brands and are used with permission. Nothing on the Site grants you any right to use these marks or materials. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse Site content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

11. Acceptable Use

When using the Site, you agree not to: break any applicable law; interfere with or disrupt the Site or its security; use automated tools to scrape or harvest data; or resell Products without our permission. We may suspend access where the Site is misused.

12. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your statutory rights as a consumer. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, and our total liability for any Order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the Irish courts. If you’re a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of your home country and may bring proceedings there where the law allows. We’d always encourage you to contact us first at support@selekty.com so we can try to put things right.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time; the version in force is the one published here, marked by the “last updated” date above. Changes don’t apply retroactively — any Order you’ve already placed is governed by the Terms in force when you placed it.
