In addition to nourishing butters and oils, moisturizing aloe vera, and vitamin E, this balm features an innovative active ingredient – ectoine, a substance worthy of its own scientific article.
Ectoine is a remarkable natural compound found in extremophile microorganisms, bacteria that thrive in harsh conditions like deserts and salt lakes. In this balm, ectoine acts as a superhero for your skin’s well-being. It protects skin cells from stress caused by dry air, cold weather, or frequent handwashing. Ectoine forms a protective shield on the skin, keeping it hydrated and soft even in challenging environments for extended periods.
Vitamin E softens the skin, locks in moisture, and prevents inflammation, roughness, and cracking.
